Styling my Flares

Flares have definitely been the trend that everyone has loved this past 6 months, starting off with black flares and now more colours are becoming more popular. I have black ASOS Design flares (all links and pictures are in my links tab or at the bottom) and they are so easy to style, I love dressing them up with a turtle neck and this ribbed burgundy turtle neck from New Look is perfect, it means both items are ribbed but they go really well together and with my Dorothy Perkins longline camel coat. It was perfect in the colder weather and I could dress down this outfit with my grey sweatshirt to make it warmer when it was really cold but always wore my Hollister white bobble hat and scarf!
On cosier days and WFH days I normally where my plain white hollister hoodie, this oversized look with my shacket is so popular at the moment and is a lovely transition into spring. Black and white is such a simple but always effective combination for any season! Another WFH outfit with my flares is with the Zara khaki sweatshirt, this is so cosy and very easy and simple to wear, but a really popular style at the moment. A half-zip sweatshirt is such a staple for me and if you look at my Instagram you’ll be seeing a post of my hollister plain white half zip also paired with this. As these items both have cinched waists they make the flares look really flattering and an easy outfit to either dress up with a longline coat or blazer, but also dress down with a puffer. I was having a look on Pretty Little Thing and ASOS for some flare inspiration for spring and the flowery ones I might need to purchase… They are so pretty and think they will be such a staple piece for SS21. These are so 70s/80s inspired which is definitely a popular era at the moment with flared trousers and straight jeans being popular items. This pattern is definitely something unique and I would pair these with a pastel or white coloured halter neck and my nude pimkie shirt. The Pretty Little Thing green washed flares would also be paired with a white halter neck and some white leather converse wold make the outfit look really put together. Different shades of green is a really popular colour at the moment and will be really popular in the coming months and look so comfy to wear! The nude flares I found from ASOS are a more smarter version of flares, these would be really nice to wear out for a meal with a black bodysuit, my leopard print Noisy may bodysuit (linked at the top) and a black blazer, such a neutral outfit which would be lovely all year round! The final flares I found were these leopard print grey flares, again these would be really nice with a plain halter neck, but as festival tickets have just been released, these would be really nice for a festival with converse hi tops or chunky boots and a mesh top, it would be so comfy and easy to wear through the day and is a perfect outfit to wear into the night as well. All of the flares are linked at the bottom and any other items mentioned will be linked in my outfit links at the top, make sure to have a look!
